THE IJWM

It's not enough to win.
Others must lose.

IJWM 2025

Chapter 11: St Pierre Country Club, Monmouthshire

The 11th IJWM returns to Blighty in 2025 with the usual 2-round stableford format, as Rich Green looks for a fabled three-peat at the beautiful St Pierre Country Club in Monmouthshire.

Once more, the IJWM has grown and we will be welcoming 28 competitors this year in what will be the biggest tournament yet.

Who has what it takes to challenge such a number and claim the championship this year?

This is so much more than a game.

This is the IJWM.

The Majors

The IJWM has 3 Majors running throughout the calendar year:

  • March Mayhem: A one-day team stableford competition. The 4-ball with the highest accumulated stableford points wins.

  • The IJWM Championship: A two-day individual stableford competition. The individual with the highest score accumulated over two rounds wins and decides the location of the next event.

    • The IJWM Ryder Cup: Played at the same time, this is a two-day team event formed of a doubles and individual match-play event (stableford). Trophy is awarded to the Team MVP by the winning Team Captain.

    • Par 3 Champion: Awarded to the individual with the highest stableford point scorer on par 3's over two rounds

  • The Founding Fathers Invitational: A one-day individual stableford competition.

IJWM HALL OF CHAMPIONS

IJWM 2024: Seville Winner, Rich Green

RICH GREEN

El Rompido, Seville

El Rompido, Seville, had the honour of hosting the 10th Annual IJWM where Rich Green sought to defend his title. Kevin Davis, Oskar and Victor Dixon made their returns to test their mettle once more alongside 5 newcomers; Patrick Winkle, Brad Doble, Greg Bunn, Alfie Dixon and Josh Cowell.

Laurie Newnes and Rich Green shared the top of the leaderboard on day 1 with 37 points. Day 2 proved a more difficult challenge, however, and it was Kevin Davis who took the lead with 71 points, entering the final round with a 3-point cushion over Rich Green and a 7-point lead over third placed Laurence Hind. The final round was one too many for Kevin Davis, who couldn’t quite go the distance, and Rich turned his attention to fending off a valiant challenge from Laurence.  In the end, Rich’s calm and quality saw him secure back-to-back titles by a single point with a final score of 101.
